Thanks for reminding me I need to get cracking on a middleware/ web-service / API...
Also, I’d go web-guy or designer... BMW... So designer is my bet. Except //M so... Maybe web guy after all.

Heh, I showed this to my Color Theory Professor. She laughed

‘Color Theory Professor’, is that a thing? To be a professor on the theory of colo(u)r?

Well she teaches other stuff, but I have her for color theory. Color theory is the theory of color interaction and how different interactions convey different things.

Cool. I learn something every day. Though my facial expression throughout a class would be.

Its really complex and hard to explain, so I’ll show you some examples of car ads.
Bright, youthful colors convey excitement and energy:
Subtle gray tones convey maturity and class:

I work in a store so its like how certain colours attract attention around the store to where the company wants customers to focus their attention, etc... but too much of this same colour can in fact have an opposite effect in that the once attention grabbing colour now becomes a back ground colour.

Pretty much. Its still really hard to explain

I think I’ll stick to my hobby.
Making this (bad)
into this (good)
Far less taxing on my brain. ;)

HA!
(Actually this looks like it’s slightly off pure white, maybe with hints of extra yellow...)

Just because it has an ///M plate holder...

(yes I get it, part of my job is being a professional color nerd....)

Since when can you get slashes in a license plate?
![]() 05/05/2015 at 12:40 |

That was my question! But there it is, parked on a the side of a street, outside of a really good BBQ joint in Louisville, KY (circa July 2012)...

I’ve seen several plates like this in NC with the /DEV/ theme
![]() 05/05/2015 at 13:34 |

It reads “DEVIL” to me, on first glance lol
![]() 05/05/2015 at 13:41 |

NC has to be one of, if not the ONLY state to allow slashes...

More like AAAEB3, am I right?

Certain states allow certain characters. Someone on Oppo had a plus sign on their plate.

Wow I never knew that.
